Travis will conduct an evaluation, cast your foot/ankle, and construct your appliance based on your physician’s prescription. The industry of “Pedorthics” (peh-DOR-thix) is the design, manufacture, modification, and fit of footwear to alleviate problems caused by disease, overuse, congenital condition, or injury.
Travis Freitas received his Pedorthic certification from The Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee. At that time, he became the youngest certified pedorthist in the nation. Travis started his Pedorthic career by establishing the Pedorthic Department of a retail shoe store in Pismo Beach. Travis has five years of retail footwear experience and is an expert shoe fitter. He is very familiar with shoe manufacturers, their construction techniques, and he can select the proper shoe size/style based on your specific needs.
